Countdown on for 2009 Urban Country Music Festival, Caboolture
There just over a month to go before some of the biggest names in Australian country music hit the Queensland town of Caboolture for the sixth annual QUT Urban Country Music Festival on May 1 - 4.
Leigh Kirley will be performing as well as Country stars Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Adam Harvey, Wally Finch and over 500 artists.
But they will not be the only talent in town.
More than 500 performers will take to various stages over four days of festivities that also include bush poetry, bush balladeers, Songwriters Cafe, a Beaut Ute competition, line dancing, markets, rides for the kids and a talent search.
Most of the events are free during the festival, which has been organised by Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Tickets to the Main Concert can be purchased through Ticketek or the festival’s website at www.urbancountry.com.au
